COVID-19 Research

MEIRU have made vital contributions to understanding the nature and impacts of COVID-19 in Malawi. Taking advantage of its existing research infrastructure, MEIRU has been able to:

• Provide insights into the prevalence of COVID-19
• Monitoring the attitudes, behaviours and mortality during the COVID-19 pandemic
• Capturing the impacts of COVID-19 on maternity services
• Document the impacts of COVID-19 on Mental Health
