Field Work

MEIRU’s work is built on the substantial and professional efforts of fieldwork teams in both Karonga and Lilongwe. The teams work with traditional authorities, local authorities and community members to ensure thar MEIRU’s research is conducted in collaboration with the communities we work in. 

Fieldwork staff are trained to collect a range of data, following standard operating procedures: anthropometric, medical, self-report. Data collected is logged carefully using both digital and paper-based approaches.
